Straight Lewis Pipes from Nash Motorcycle

NEW SET OF GREAT LOOKING PIPES from Nash Motorcycle – Straight Lewis Pipes

Since the beginning, Nash has been fabbing their own pipes for every custom bike that we build. Nash has many different designs that they have developed for all of their custom bikes. After many requests for their pipes Nash has decided to get a hold of one of the best pipe makers in the industry; Tyler with SikPipes. Tyler takes Nash Designs and hand makes these pipes to their specifications out of 16 gauge tig welded mandrel bent steel. All the pipes are mocked up on a bike for perfect fit before they are shipped out. These pipes are another unique Nash design; they can be made to fit 84-99 Evos, 2000-up Twincams, 57-85 Ironheads, or 86-up Sportsters. If there are other engine applications that you would like to run these pipes on please give Nash Motorcycle a call. Let them know if you have any other questions, Thanks, NMC

Zippers Performance – Max Flow Air Filter Kit

Power increase that’s easy to install and easy on the budget!

Zipper’s  MaxFlow air filter kit is designed to completely replace the stock air cleaner assembly, featuring our Max Flow element.  This serviceable, pleated element is over 2-3/4″ deep to really let that engine breathe yielding up to 5 additional HP over the stock system! Also included is a one-piece cast backing plate with internal crankcase venting and mounting hardware.  Fits fuel injected and carbureted Twin Cam® engines equipped with the factory TC88 “football” cover.  The MaxFlow filter is recommended for use on modified engines with high flow exhaust. Available with standard aluminum cast, black or chrome plated backing plate. Bolt it on and feel the difference!

If you have a S.E. Stage 1 Performance Air Filter Kit on your bike you should consider a MaxFlow Upgrade Kit. The MaxFlow Stage 1 Upgrade Kit includes the MaxFlow filter and mounting hardware – simply replace the S.E. filter. Takes about 5 minutes to install – the difference is immediately noticeable!

Harley Davidson – HOSTILE TAKE OVER!

The last I seen on the news – was that this was pretty much a loosing battle for Harley Davidson – The news link is dated March 16th 2010 that I posted. But the tickers on most news channels were filed with the reports of Harley Davidson’s eventual take over by German based Firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Company and to my understanding  – KK&R (  http://www.kkr.com/ ) is acting on the take over for an un-named client.

Article on SSK in Buffalo Rising

It was great of Kimberly Ehnes from Buffalo Rising to come by and do an interview on myself and South Side Kustoms. This kind of out reach from a local media, is greatly helpful as well as inspiring. I guess it means us motorcycle riders aren’t so scary anymore……HAHAHA! Besides that – the help of spreading the word about our events and charity events is greatly appreciated.

RALLY FOR THE RUGRATS!!

An Orlando-based HOG group is working on breaking the world record for the most Harleys in a single ride while raising money for Toys for Tots.

Rally for the Rugrats collects money for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation and for the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, and has plans to gather riders at several rallies this year.

One ride will take place during the May Harley-Davidson rally, but will skirt Myrtle Beach. The exact route is to be announced.

The donation to ride is $40 for the driver and a $15 extra-rider fee.

Other record-breaking attempts will be at Laconia, N.H.; Sturgis, N.D.; and Daytona Beach. The group says all riders are welcome, but only Harleys will be counted for the record. The current record was set in 2002, when 2,118 Harleys participated in a Denver ride.

For more information or to register, see the group’s Web site at www.rallyfortherugrats.com.
