Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson is hosting its second online auction from Friday, May 21, at noon to Monday, May 24, ending at 5 p.m. The dealership says that going forward, auctions will occur twice a month and will feature a variety of used Harley-Davidsons as well as metric and custom bikes.
The dealership says that after the success of its first 24-hour online auction, it’s inviting motorcycle enthusiasts from around the world to log on to http://auctions.brucerossmeyer.com where they can peruse the 10 used motorcycles up for auction.
According to a press release, each motorcycle is listed with up to 10 photos and an video in which a salesperson presents a virtual sales pitch — highlighting the bike’s features and doing a 360-degree walk around the bike. Throughout the auction period, viewers can bid on the various bikes, starting with a $2,500 minimum bid. At the end of the auction the highest bidder will win the bike.
Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley-Davidson offers national and international shipping on all bikes and financing options, and accepts most major forms of payment such as credit cards and checks. The dealership also offers financing for the featured bikes and an auction specialist to answer any questions from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. via phone at 866-410-2453.
Viewers can log on now to preview the bikes. The dealership says it’s “truly changing the way the world buys motorcycles forever. Now collectors and riders can simply log on the website from anywhere in the world and purchase a motorcycle from the World’s largest Harley-Davidson dealer with confidence and ease.”
Bruce Rossmeyer’s Harley-Davidson dealerships include a Daytona Beach, Fla., location, as well as one located in Ormond Beach at Destination Daytona, the world’s largest Harley-Davidson dealership. There are 11 other locations nationwide.

The ‘Perfect Storm’ from Kuryakyn
KURYAKYN has developed ‘The Perfect Storm’ range of parts as a complete bolt-on tuning package for Harley-Davidsons.
Each kit is made up of a Kuryakyn high flow air cleaner, Kuryakyn true dual head pipes, Kuryakyn Crusher mufflers and a TTS Master Tune engine management system.
Talking to AMD about the idea of creating a package of performance products that makes up The Perfect Storm, Mike Roland of Kuryakyn said: “It started out when we had the idea to enable any shop to fit our air cleaner and exhaust to a bike and send it out the door running. The missing link was having something to tune the bike with once the upgraded parts had been fitted.
“However, that issue was resolved when we started distributing TTS products and we got access to the Master Tune, which is part of the TTS product range. All I then had to do was build the calibrations for our combinations of air cleaners and exhausts and put them up on the website for people to be able to download into the Master Tune, so now people can have the whole package – The Perfect Storm.”
The high flow air cleaner and Crusher exhaust system included in The Perfect Storm are the components that help to free up the motor and allow it to breathe, with the fuel injection being revised and controlled by the TTS Master Tune. The TTS Master Tune recalibrates the bike’s ECU rather than trick it to simply add fuel. This reprogramming of the ECU can be done with or without a dyno, and due to the data logger and tune generator functions included with the Master Tune any user can tune a bike using a laptop computer.
